Educational Grants - for ESSKA 2018 Congress
Share |

On January 1st 2018, the rules for travel-grants were changed, because of new MedTech Europe Regulations.

MedTech’s Code of Ethical Business Practice will prohibit MedTech companies from giving direct financial support to individuals who are attending third-party events. This is part of MedTech policy to regulate the relations between Industry and Healthcare.

Travel assistance will now be provided through educational grants to Healthcare Organisations (HCOs). Hence, you must apply through your own institution.

If you do require financial support to attend ESSKA’s 18th Congress (9-12 May, 2018 – Glasgow, UK) please approach the chief of your institution (Hospital, Clinic, etc). Your institution can request funds for all interested candidates, and from the appropriate sponsor/MedTech member-company.

How can your institution apply for your grant?
Fill in the application template HERE and submit it to your potential sponsor.

Which companies can provide grants?
Find the list of MedTech Europe member-companies here:

Please note that ESSKA Congress is a MedTech compliant event.

If you have any questions, please contact our Corporate Relations Manager, Rik Bollaert, at bollaert.rik@esska.org

We look forward to greeting many of you in Glasgow in May!
