ESA Fellowships

ESSKA-ESA Philippe Hardy Travelling Fellowship.

This new fellowship run by ESA, the Shoulder Section of ESSKA was established in 2018 in memory of Prof. Philippe Hardy - a colleague, friend, who will always be remembered as a reference in shoulder surgery and academic activity in the orthopaedics’ world.

The purpose of this fellowship is to contribute to the development of skills of young orthopaedic surgeons who are already into shoulder surgery, namely arthroscopy and arthroplasty. The fellowship will cover various aspects of sports, trauma and degenerative lesions of the shoulder such as arthritis, instabilities, rotator cuff and acromio-clavicular lesions.

Three selected Fellows visit five ESSKA Teaching Centres.
