Company history
Orteq Ltd is headquartered in London, UK and was established in 2005 to develop and commercialize products using our proprietary polymer technology.
Orteq has developed ActifitTM, a polymer scaffold especially designed to encourage new tissue growth in areas of the meniscus that are damaged.
ActifitTM has successfully completed its EU clinical trial to assess its safety and performance , received its CE mark and is now approved for sale in Europe.
Our new biomaterial has unique properties that make it effective when used as an implanted scaffold through which the body can grow new meniscus-like tissue.
Orteq's manufacturing is housed in a state-of-the-art 2,500 sq ft facility in Groningen, The Netherlands.
