Medical Vision develops, constructs and manufactures medical devices which increase visualization during Endoscopic surgery. The products are sold worldwide through partners and distributors. Our mission is to improve the quality of patient care and the health care cost efficiency through products built on safe and proven technology.
This is accomplished through extensive research and development programs conducted together with our partners and users as well as through a continuing refinement of existing products. Working together with Surgeons, Nurses and Product Specialists around the world, Medical Vision R&D project leaders are committed to develop high-quality products with increased benefits for patients and users as well as for their hospitals.
All Medical Vision products are manufactured in DIN EN ISO 13485: 2003 facilities and are in compliance with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations. In addition, our products are CE marked according to the 93/42 EEC Directives.
Medical Vision has during the last years taken a leadership position in the European arthroscopy market with its Fluid Management products.
Our Partners
The most important research and development partners over the last years have been the Karolinska University Hospital and the Royal School of Technology (KTH), both located in Stockholm. On the construction and manufacturing side our most important partners are Lean S.r.L in Italy, who is specialized in construction and manufacturing of instruments to be used within Fluid Management, and B.Braun Melsungen AG, who is our largest sub-supplier of customer oriented disposables.
